Vitamin D Aids Weight Loss

“Taking vitamin D supplements has been found to aid weight loss in obese and overweight people who are deficient in the vitamin”

Previous studies have shown that vitamin D deficiency is associated with developing obesity and the risk of obesity-related complications, scientists at the University of Milan said.

They estimated that in northern Italy, severe vitamin D deficiency ranges from 6% in overweight people to 30%-40% in the morbidly obese. Almost all obese subjects did not have a vitamin D level in the optimal range.

DO IT, DO IT NOW …

‘The universe rewards action not intention’

I stopped procrastinating, the commitment was made and I started doing my thing at the expensive gym nearest to my house. As luck would have it a new 24 hour budget chain gym complete with a large free weight area, 5 minutes from my house was  announced and would open in a couple of months.

It’s true, my approach at the start was a bit shaky, my attendence at the gym a bit sporadic. I wondered if anyone notice I didn’t exactly know what I was doing with the weights. I felt if I was going to make this really happen I needed someone who I could ask questions and get beginners advice from and maybe even train with on the odd occassion. Who better then the bodybuilder at work after all, he was the only bodybuilder I know.
